1. Who we are
The EasyWeek website, marketplace, and the EasyWeek client app (the "Green App") (together with any related services and websites operated under the EasyWeek brand, the "Service") are provided by:
EasyWeek GmbH — Hördtweg 65, 40470 Düsseldorf, Germany. Registered with Amtsgericht Düsseldorf under HRB 80278. VAT ID: DE815689351. In these Terms, "EasyWeek®", "we", "us", and "our" refer to EasyWeek GmbH. "EasyWeek" is a registered trademark of EasyWeek GmbH; all rights reserved.
Full company information is available in our Legal Notice.
2. What EasyWeek does — and what it does not
EasyWeek is an online booking platform that helps you discover service businesses ("Providers" — for example, hair salons, barbershops, beauty studios, spas, fitness studios, medical and dental practices, photo studios, equipment rentals, and other service businesses) and book appointments with them.
Important: EasyWeek is a software platform and marketplace. EasyWeek is not the Provider of the services you book. Each Provider is an independent business that contracts directly with you for the services it sells through EasyWeek. EasyWeek does not:
- guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or timeliness of any service offered by a Provider;
- guarantee the accuracy of Provider listings, prices, opening hours, or availability;
- verify the identity, licensing, or qualifications of Providers beyond reasonable platform-level checks;
- accept liability for any failure of a Provider to honour a booking or perform services to your satisfaction.
When you book through EasyWeek, your contract for the service itself is between you and the Provider, governed by the Provider's own terms, cancellation policy, and (where applicable) consumer-protection rules of the Provider's jurisdiction. Disputes about the service itself should be raised first with the Provider.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you are not barred from using the Service under any applicable law.
4. Your account
You may use parts of the Service without an account, but to book most services and to use the Green App you must register an account. When you register you agree to:
- provide accurate, current, and complete information, including a valid email address and (where required) a verifiable mobile phone number;
- keep your registration information up to date;
- keep your password and any login credentials confidential;
- not share, sell, transfer, or assign your account to anyone else;
- be responsible for all activity that occurs on your account.
You can delete your account at any time from in-app settings or by writing to support@easyweek.io. Deletion is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We may verify your identity through email, SMS, voice call, or other reasonable means. We may suspend or close your account if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your account has been compromised or is being used unlawfully.
5. Booking through EasyWeek
When you book a service through EasyWeek:
- You select a Provider, service, and time slot. The price displayed is set by the Provider, may include or exclude taxes and surcharges depending on the Provider's settings, and is binding for that booking unless we expressly mark it as an estimate.
- You confirm the booking. EasyWeek transmits the booking to the Provider and sends you a confirmation through email, SMS, push notification, or in-app message (depending on your preferences).
- The contract for the service is concluded directly between you and the Provider.
Cancellation and no-show
Each Provider sets its own cancellation, rescheduling, no-show, and deposit policy. The policy applicable to your booking is shown at the moment of booking and in your booking confirmation. You are responsible for reading and following the Provider's policy. EasyWeek may, on the Provider's behalf, charge cancellation or no-show fees to the payment method you provided.
Online payments
Where the Provider has enabled online payment and you choose to pay through EasyWeek, the payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe) on the Provider's behalf. EasyWeek does not store your full card number. Refund requests for paid services must be addressed to the Provider, who decides on refunds in accordance with its policy and applicable law. EasyWeek may pass refunds back to your original payment method on behalf of the Provider.
Gift cards
EasyWeek-issued gift cards and Provider-issued gift cards purchased through the Service are governed by their own terms displayed at the time of purchase. Gift cards are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer-protection law.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer for a charge processed through EasyWeek, please first try to resolve the matter with the Provider and our support team. Abusive or fraudulent chargebacks may result in suspension of your account and forwarding of the dispute to the Provider and to law enforcement where appropriate.
6. Marketplace, reviews, and user content
The EasyWeek marketplace lets you browse Providers, see their services, photos, opening hours, and aggregated ratings, and leave reviews. You may also post profile information, photos, comments, and other content (collectively, "User Content").
Your licence to us
By posting User Content you grant EasyWeek a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, translate, publicly display, publicly perform, distribute, and use your User Content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Service (including across the EasyWeek family of regional websites, the Green App, partner channels such as Google Reserve and Apple Maps, and our marketing materials), for as long as your User Content remains on the Service or is needed for the purposes above. This licence ends when you delete your User Content from the Service, except for copies retained in backups or in aggregated/anonymised analytics, and except where retention is required by law.
Your warranties
You warrant that:
- you own your User Content or have all rights and permissions needed to grant the licence above;
- your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights (intellectual property, privacy, personality, publicity);
- your reviews reflect your honest first-hand experience with the Provider;
- you have not been paid or otherwise incentivised by the Provider or a competitor to leave a review.
Our moderation rights
We may, but are not obligated to, review, edit, refuse to publish, or remove User Content that we believe (in our reasonable discretion) violates these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others. We may also rank, summarise, or annotate User Content (including with AI-generated summaries) for display in the marketplace.
7. Communications and marketing
By creating an account, providing your contact details to a Provider through the Service, or otherwise using the Service, you agree that EasyWeek and the Provider you booked with may send you:
- Transactional messages about your bookings, account, and security — these cannot be opted out of while you have an active account or booking.
- Marketing messages about EasyWeek, the EasyWeek marketplace, the Green App, partner offers, and similar products and services — sent through email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, and in-app messages.
EasyWeek may use your contact details to invite you to new EasyWeek products and ecosystem services where this is lawful under § 7(3) UWG, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f), or — where required — your express consent.
Opt-out
You can opt out of marketing communications at any time:
- Email — click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email
- SMS / WhatsApp — reply "STOP" to any marketing message (you will receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed)
- Push notifications — turn off in your device or app settings
- All channels at once — Profile → Notification preferences in the Green App
Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any prior processing and does not prevent us from sending you transactional messages.
For help with messaging, reply "HELP" to any SMS or contact support@easyweek.io.
8. EasyWeek mobile app (Green App)
The Green App is the EasyWeek client app for booking services and managing your bookings. It is available on the Apple App Store (id6569244926) and Google Play (com.awescode.EasyWeekApp). EasyWeek also publishes a separate business app for service Providers ("EasyWeek Business", the "Black App", id1532879003 / com.awescode.EasyWeek). The Black App is not for clients and is governed by a separate agreement.
Your use of the Green App is subject to these Terms and to the rules of the app store from which you downloaded it. EasyWeek grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Green App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Green App except where applicable law expressly permits. The Green App may request permission to access device features such as camera, microphone, location, contacts, and notifications — you can grant or deny these in your device settings; some Service features may not work without them.
App store rules — including Apple Media Services Terms and Google Play Terms — apply in addition to these Terms. Where there is an irreconcilable conflict, the rule that is more protective of the consumer prevails.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service:
- for any unlawful purpose or to encourage anyone else to do so;
- to violate any applicable law, rule, regulation, or ordinance;
- to infringe our or any third party's intellectual property, privacy, personality, or publicity rights;
- to harass, abuse, threaten, insult, defame, intimidate, or discriminate against anyone on any ground;
- to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including fake bookings, fake reviews, or impersonation;
- to upload viruses, worms, malware, or any other harmful code;
- to collect or track personal information about other users without lawful basis;
- to spam, phish, pharm, scrape, spider, or crawl (other than within the limits we expressly allow);
- to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service or to place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
- to use the Service to compete with EasyWeek or to build a competing product;
- to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except to the extent the law expressly permits.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach this Section 9.
10. Intellectual property
All content, software, designs, trademarks, service marks, logos, layouts, and other materials of the Service are owned by EasyWeek or its licensors and are protected by German and international law. EasyWeek® and the EasyWeek logo are registered trademarks of EasyWeek GmbH.
You receive only the limited rights expressly stated in these Terms. All other rights are reserved.
If you believe content available through the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact legal@easyweek.io with: (a) a description of the protected work, (b) the URL or location of the allegedly infringing content, (c) your contact details, (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised, and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorised to act. Knowingly false notices may result in liability for damages.
11. Disclaimers and liability
As-is
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, except those that cannot be excluded under applicable law. EasyWeek does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected.
Statutory rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence — including, where applicable, your rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU as transposed into Irish law by the European Union (Consumer Information, Cancellation and Other Rights) Regulations 2013 (SI 484/2013), the Consumer Protection Act 2007, and the German Civil Code (BGB). In particular, these Terms do not limit EasyWeek's liability for (i) intent or gross negligence, (ii) injury to life, body, or health caused by EasyWeek's culpable breach, (iii) liability under the German Product Liability Act, or (iv) any other liability that cannot be limited by contract under applicable law.
Limitation
Subject to the statutory rights above, EasyWeek's total liability arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (i) the amount you paid to EasyWeek (not to a Provider) in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) one hundred euros (€100). EasyWeek is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
Provider responsibility
Provider obligations to deliver the booked service, including refunds and complaints about the service, are the Provider's responsibility, not EasyWeek's. EasyWeek will support you in resolving disputes with the Provider on a best-effort basis through our support team.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which describe what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service (in-app notification, email, or banner) at least fourteen (14) days before they take effect, except where a shorter period is required by law (for example, in case of urgent security or legal updates). If you continue using the Service after the changes take effect, the updated Terms apply to your continued use. If you do not agree, your remedy is to stop using the Service and, if you wish, delete your account.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from in-app settings or by contacting support@easyweek.io. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continued provision becomes commercially or technically unreasonable, with reasonable notice except in urgent cases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution — survive.
15. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer with habitual residence in another country in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence (Rome I Regulation Art. 6).
Out-of-court dispute resolution
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. EasyWeek is not obliged and does not participate in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of the German Act on Consumer Dispute Resolution (VSBG).
Courts
The exclusive place of jurisdiction for disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms is Düsseldorf, Germany, provided that consumers may also sue at the court of their habitual residence and may be sued only at the court of their habitual residence, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
16. Miscellaneous
These Terms (together with the documents they refer to — Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Legal Notice, and any Provider-specific terms shown at the time of booking) constitute the entire agreement between you and EasyWeek with respect to the subject matter and supersede any prior understanding.
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect, and the invalid provision will be replaced by a valid one that most closely matches its original intent. No waiver of a provision is a waiver of any other or future breach. We may assign these Terms to a successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of EasyWeek's business; you may not assign them without our prior written consent.
